Our client, a global financial services company, needs a freelance PowerPoint Presentation Designer who can work onsite Tuesday - Saturday (nonnegotiable) in NY to help their team for 3 months, 40 hours a week, with a likely long-term extension.

The office location could vary, based on business needs, between Brooklyn or Manhattan but will always be onsite, no WFH.

The work days are Tuesday through Saturday, 8 hour shifts, and the earliest shift start time is 6 PM EST; later is okay (7, 8, 9 or 10 PM and they will reimburse up to $75/day for an Uber when commuting home during off hours/after 10 PM).

A computer w/ design and PPT software is required at home for the test but everything is provided onsite once onboarded.

The ideal Presentation Designer has advanced information design knowledge and can take sketches and thoughts and turn them into presentations with graphics, information visualizations, and animations. There is also graphic design work in Illustrator and Photoshop but the majority is in PowerPoint. All Adobe elements created will be put into the presentation slides or Word doc. before the final deliverable is sent to the (internal) client.

The hiring managers want to see relevant and current presentation and design work, ideally from the financial / banking industry that shows attention to detail (no duplicated slides or wrong titles, slides aligned properly and consistent formatting, etc.).

Presentation Designer Requirements
? At least 4 years of professional experience in presentation design support at a corporate level
? Expertise in using Keynote and PowerPoint to ensure consistency in the look, feel, and voice of internal and external presentations
? Proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint and Word
? Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite ? InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop a must
? Financial experience is important (or at least with charts and graphs)
? Mapping experience is a huge plus
? Must be able to work Fridays and Saturdays, ideally 4 10 hour days each week

Presentation Designer Responsibilities
? Create, produce, edit, and annotate graphic designs, multimedia files and documents in accordance with specifications, using a variety of high-end graphics applications
? Receive feedback and apply this to continuous improvements in quality output, develop capabilities for innovation and service excellence
? Work directly with investment bankers in a fast paced and quick turnaround environment
? Work on complex slide enhancements and be able to tell a story with the flat work provided

There will be 4-6 weeks of onsite training in Brooklyn, Monday - Friday from 8 AM - 5 PM; then the regular shift hours will begin.

Our client will provide reimbursement for a car service when public transportation is not running during off hours (after 10 PM).

There will be a 3 hour test (Tuesday, 10/19) and for those who do well on the exercise they'll schedule interviews. (If you're interested and available but have a conflict during the test day or time please still apply; they have flexibility with it!)
