Our client, a well-known and highly regarded consumer goods and pharma company, is currently seeking a Freelance Junior Project Manager / Coordinator join their team in a support role.

Please note this is a hybrid onsite/remote opportunity in NYC, 40hrs/week ongoing.

Junior Project Manager / Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Will report to the leaders of Editorial and Social Media and act as the liaison between social and editorial teams, helping manage the social calendar and facilitating deliverables of assets as needed
- Partner with social managers and others to assist with development of social media posts
- Assist editorial and social directors in daily communication tasks such as scheduling team meetings and crafting and sharing status updates
- Exhibit strong initiative to manage and own relevant day-to-day activities while keeping supervisors informed of project status and next steps on all initiatives
- Support development and execution of daily social newsletter, helping provide guidance to global partners on daily priorities and strategic opportunities
- Show strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Display flexibility, while maintaining sense of urgency
- Model a positive, can-do attitude
- Demonstrate efficiency and comfort in a fast-paced environment while working both in the office and remotely
- Maintain a very proactive and resourceful work ethic, eager and willing to help the team succeed!

Requirements:
- Ideally looking for 3+ years of experience in supporting and PM roles with a strong understanding of content and what goes into content creation for editorial and social media
- Ability to generate new ideas and contribute to the continuous improvement of communications programs and processes within the division
- Advanced skills in Excel, Asana, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and ability to quickly learn frequently used systems such as Concur, SharePoint, Workday etc
- Extremely strong organizational and detail-oriented skills are required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal, analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion, independently assess and resolve complex situations and shift priorities as needs arise
- Must demonstrate flexibility, while maintaining sense of urgency with an eager and can-do attitude
- Open and willing to contribute in meetings, looking for and adopting to best practices - embracing change when needed
- Demonstrate efficiency and comfort in a fast-paced environment and working remotely
