Internal Communications Specialist - WFH during Covid-19

Our tech client located in Cambridge is looking for a Internal Communications Specialist to join their Learning & Development team for the next three months, possibly longer!

The Internal Communications Specialist will work closely with the Internal Communications Manager and will help develop content and programs that inspire employees at all levels and encourage engagement.

Responsibilities include:
- Source, draft and deliver a variety of communications including email newsletters, intranet content, live company events and more.
- Review, edit and write clear and consistent employee-facing communications on behalf of stakeholders
- Help manage key internal comms platforms and channels including our communication calendar, intranet and wiki
- Assist with managing employee meetings (i.e. Town Halls)
- Partner with People & Talent, PR and Marketing to align our internal messaging with external strategy

The ideal Internal Communications Specialist will have:
- 4+ years experience in a Communications, Copywriting or Marketing role
- Experience and passion for writing and developing content
- Experience working within an email marketing system or internal communications system a plus
- Strong written communications skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with a diverse set of stakeholders
- Experience managing websites, blogs, and social platforms (WordPress, LinkedIn, Instagram, Twitter) a plus

This is a 30-32 hour a week opportunity for the next three months, possibly longer. For now the team is remote, but if/when things normalize this role will sit onsite at their office in Cambridge!
