Our client, well-known name in the financial / media industry is seeking a Product Manager.

This is a full time role. Ideally, candidates would be local to LA and hybrid options are available for the Playa Vista office. They are open to fully remote for the right fit.

Product Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the product strategy and execution for a designated product/product line; Understand business direction and translate business cases to use cases and product requirement
- Work closely with internal stakeholders: content, marketing, ad sales, video, analytics, and engineering; ensure business goals and objectives are achieved in product offerings
- Understand consumer, in and out: their pains and frustrations; own problems and work with core product development teams to provide solutions
- Collaborate with core product development team including product, user experience, and engineering to define value, usability, and feasibility of product
- Work closely with the Data & Analytics team and Stakeholders to define KPI, and measure against product performance data to define success criteria
- Encourage a fast-paced approach within a cross functional team / culture to create, prototype, test and release products and features
- Own the entire product life cycle, from cradle to grave; constantly seek for opportunities to develop new product as well as enhance and optimize existing product or category using A/B and multivariate testing tools
- Oversee the design and usability of designated product/ product line. Work with UX designer to create workflow, prototype and lead usability testing
- Lead product innovation, brainstorm with implementation teams, and constantly evaluate new ideas through quick prototyping, user testing, and validation
- Work with an agile mentality in collaboration with engineering, design / UX, product marketing, content/editorial and other teams in the defining a path forward for the successful execution of applications and products.
- Be the conduit between business and engineering to address business stakeholders needs and concerns; make trade-off decisions and set priority
- Develop a real time feedback loop to monitor product category (features, design, usability)

Product Manager Requirements:
- 2-3 years of product manager experience in a fast paced B2C consumer facing company
- 2+ years of mobile web and native app (iOS/Android) product experience
- Strong technology background with a firm grasp on the interconnected relationship between product and engineering teams
- Understand how to build a mission-driven product that translates our brand promises into user experiences
- Experience with UI/UX design, product requirement (including user stories, use cases, KPI, survey questionnaire, user testing scripts), and content management workflows.
- Familiar with user research framework including usability test, persona, customer journey, survey, and user interviews
- Experience in leveraging A/B & multivariate testing tool in product optimization and enhancement
- Familiar with analytics products including Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics
- Familiar with Agile/Scrum & Kanban methodology; Certified PO preferred
- Exposure to developing tools / features to increase customer usage / retention
- Familiar with the stock/financial market and understand options trading are big plus
