Our Insurance client is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join their team!

This opportunity is currently remote during COVID-19 and requires this person to be onsite in Newport Beach, CA. once the office reopens.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Marketing position.

Marketing Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Assists with research and creation of internal and external marketing-related content; may be required to write original content or edit existing content
- Highly administrative
- Tracks status of marketing-related projects
- Follows guidelines to produce, and distribute reports for email blasts and nurture campaigns
- Maintains knowledge of key social media tools, best practices, and emerging trends to optimize social medial presence and online reputation
- Catalogues and supports thought leadership resource materials, ensuring version control process is followed and documented
- Maintains editorial media list for various publications within Meltwater public relations software
- Maintains library of news release and media opportunity checklists, providing metrics reports following Public
Relations news releases
- Complies with established procedures to coordinate survey and awards submissions
- Performs general proofreading support for written content
- Provides administrative support as needed, including routine office tasks
- Other duties as assigned

Marketing Coordinator Requirements:
- Bachelor?s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years of marketing, or related experience
- Experience with drafting marketing content preferred
- Experience with maintaining company social media sites to create brand awareness and increase followers
- Experience in Asana, Meltwater, and Sprout Social preferred
- Expertise with driving social media strategy and executing social media programs
- Proficiency in Google Analytics
- High proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong writing, editing, proofreading skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid project management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and multitask in a fast-moving environment
- Strong ability to set priorities, solve problems, and be resourceful under pressure
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of associates within the organization
