Financial client is seeking a Director Communications & PR to work with their team, while a teammate is on leave.

Director Communications & PR Duties:
- Develop the implementation and maintenance of overall communications strategy and plan,incorporating the needs of all divisions
- Ensure CEO and executive leadership team receive written communications support for internal, external and Board communications
- Work closely with departments to develop strategies (e.g., content, frequency, timing, format, style, tone, distribution channel, etc.) for internal/external communications, and assist with developing individual departmental communication plans
- Manage the member and employee feedback process
- Oversee, review and approve all written communication (print and digital) ensuring they are tailored to the appropriate target audience. This includes letters, emails, marketing campaigns, web pages, social media, press releases, announcements, news articles, etc.
- Oversee public relations, earned media, sponsorships, and member complaints
- Manage the business unit and department content providers, home page content, and upgrades to internal intranet
- Manage the Social Media Manager to ensure social media strategy is in alignment with strategic goals and overall brand. Ensure that channels are consistently experiencing greater growth and engagement.
Manage the (PR) Manager to ensure development of initiatives across all public channels

Requirements:
- 7+ years experience, 3+ in a leadership role
- Bachelor's degree
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills.
- Strong PR and social media background
- Experience in writing/editing, customer service, internal communications, or compliance
- Ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required
- Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills required
- Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
