Digital Content Strategist - WFH during Covid-19

Our technology client in Tysons, VA is looking for a Digital Content Strategist to oversee the building, revision, and updating of a large scale consumer facing website. This position is up to 40 hours a week, currently remote, and 3 months long with possibility to extend or convert.

The ideal candidate will have experience updating content and webpages to maximize SEO. You will understand how content hierarchies, back linking, etc effect SEO.

Duties of the Digital Content Strategist:
- Lead the updating and revisions of the customer facing website - work directly with the content team and development team to execute changes
- Build website pages in CMS
- Ensure best practices are utilized to provide ongoing SEO support to the site
- Use Google Analytics and Unbounced to understand audience behavior and refine content heirarchy and landing page design based on feedback
- Project manage updates across pages

Requirements of the Digital Content Strategist:
- 5+ years of website management experience
- 2+ years of leading the development, content updating, etc of a large scale website
- Extensive knowledge of SEO and how UX effects SEO
- Extensive experience working with Google Analytics and Unbounce to inform content/landing page decisions
- Experience working with a CMS aka Craft highly preferred
- Experience working in a technology company highly preferred
