Our B2B and B2C retailer needs a Chief Merchandising Manager to join its team full time.

The Chief Merchandising Manager will work closely with a variety of cross-functional teams from the New Product Manager and New Product Developer, to manufacturing, purchasing, eCommerce and more.

In this pivotal role, you'll be expected to become deeply ingrained in the customers' mindset, trends, forecasting, etc. to source and develop products that elevate the brand and keep it fresh.

The ideal candidate has a strong background merchandising an assortment of products, some experience closely with product development

Chief Merchandising Manager requirements:
- Develop seasonal and evergreen product category strategy, including plans by category, new and proprietary markets, design themes and key financial and milestone achievements.
- Identify and present new Merchandising strategies
- Collaborate with new product team to develop new and on brand, unique product pipelines to achieve the highest sales and profit margin.
- Responsible for product analytics and reporting to understand the health of a product and its category, etc.
- Provides sign off on the final products for both web and print channels.
- Approves all catalog creative
- Develops relationship with vendors

Chief Merchandising requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in product development or sourcing
- Experience in product development from initial concepting to packaging, sourcing and development
- Demonstrates ability to analyze and present data (sales trends / opportunities)
- Experience in like retail position for multi-product stores is appreciated
