A leading organization in Washington, DC is looking for a Digital Communications Manager to join their team full time.

This Digital Communications Manager will analyze content effectiveness using data, user experience and SEO to achieve organizational content objectives. This includes working with internal creative and content teams to support public relations, outreach, and the organizations brand across platforms.

Digital Communications Manager responsibilities:
- Manage and approve the development of impactful content including managing editorial calendars
- Review, analyze and optimize content across website, emails, video, and other digital platforms
- Ensure that content is on-brand, consistent, and optimized for search and user experience
- Track and report metrics related to content performance and engagement across all digital platforms; Communicate data insights to senior leadership/upper management, both verbally and in writing.
- Work with the organization’s product strategy team to identify platform bugs and strategize to improve user experience scenarios.
- Optimize SEO, research and conduct keyword research and analysis to test for content effectiveness
- Write and edit content for high-level organizational initiatives and projects.
- Create and maintain digital content workflows and processes using project management and digital publishing tools.

Digital Communications Manager qualifications:
- 5-7 years of Digital Content experience working with cross funcational teams of creatives, web, etc.
- Proficient with e-marketing platform (Salesforce pref), as well as digital publishing tools such as Drupal, WordPress, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Specifically Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign)
- Advanced knowledge of data tracking, analysis, and interpretation skills
- Experience in delivering wireframes, personas, content models, vision briefs, content inventories and audits, journey maps, heuristic reviews, competitive reviews, and analytics reviews.
- Experience with editorial project management.
- Experience managing multimedia projects involving interactive, video, and audio components desired.
- Bachelors degree
