Our client in McLean, Virginia is looking for a Media Technician to assist with the production of their new show.

This is an ON-SITE role for 4-6 days of work/month. Perfect for filling in gaps in your schedule! Working hours are during the week.

Media Technician responsibilities:
? Setup, operate, and support all studio and control room equipment: studio cameras, microphones, lighting system, prompter, Skype/Zoom/PowerPoint PCs, and video switcher.
? Take remote direction from team to build shows and switch live elements
? Participate in live show rehearsals, live shows, and mock show training
? Perform quality control checks and adjusts video/audio signal levels for optimum quality
? Conduct frequent equipment and broadcast testing as needed

Media Technician qualifications:
? Excellent communication skills, works well in a team and remote environment
? Experience operating video production equipment
? Proficient with Windows and Mac computers
? Skilled using Skype and Zoom
? Willingness to work varied schedules and later hours — remote team is on Pacific Time Zone
? Adheres to company procedures and policies
? Positive attitude with a willingness to learn new technology

? Live show video switching experience
? Studio or live events floor directing experience
