Our client is looking for a Marketing Director that will focus on campaigns for promoting events. This is a FULL-TIME, HYRBID position.

The ideal Marketing Director will not be planning the events. They will be marketing the events and making to generate leads.

Our client is looking for a marketing person who is well rounded in traditional and digital marketing, but there is a heavier emphasis on automation, CRM, PPC and analytics. The preferred tools are Marketo, HubSpot, Google Analytics and Google AdWords.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a variety of initiatives to help drive new strategies to acquire new customers, increase engagement with existing customers, and drive value across both online and offline channels via innovative tactics.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute integrated awareness and demand generation programs across multiple outbound and inbound channels including: email, content marketing, search and social advertising, PPC, etc.
Manage execution of event campaigns leveraging internal resources for email, social, and other digital marketing channels
Leverage marketing automation tools, CRM, and data analysis to bring scale to demand generation and conversion programs
Measure and analyze data to report on campaign performance and to quickly respond to data for continual performance improvement
Collaborate with sales team to build programs that support sales enablement and pipeline growth
Optimize the lead-to-customer conversion rate throughout all marketing touch-points
Ensures marketing design meets or exceeds industry standards

Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant concentration (masters degree a plus)
10+ years marketing experience with 3-4 years hands-on experience in inbound and demand generation (lead generation and nurturing, campaigns execution and measurement) preferably in energy, media/publishing, events, or industrial markets
Experience with multi-channel marketing including but not limited to: email marketing, website marketing, PPC, SEO, retargeting, social marketing
Data analysis skills, with the ability to extract and interpret data from various sources to develop creative solutions and business decisions
Have strong written and verbal communication skills including copywriting
Experience with list building, management, cleansing, de-duplication, and segmentation
Intermediate-Advanced spreadsheet capabilities including functions, pivot tables, and lookups
Creativity is a must, bringing new ideas to the table is a key to success in this role
Strong collaboration skills; able to develop and maintain effective relationships with peers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
Marketo Certified Expert highly preferred
Hubspot certification a plus
Google Ads and Analytics certified a plus
Basic HTML and CSS skills a plus
