Our boutique Marketing agency client needs a dual Account Manager and Copywriter to join their team this fall.

The ideal candidate is an energetic, client-facing Copywriter with strong account/project management skills and ideally a marketing/advertising agency background.

The Account Manager and Copywriter will serve in two main functions: providing day-to-day account management support in a client-facing capacity, as well as writing effective marketing content for client initiatives.

Account Manager and Copywriter responsibilities:
- Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for many clients
- Establish the strategic direction for campaigns in both the traditional and digital marketing spaces
- Assist with creation of copy for marketing communications including: blog content, case studies, social media content, web content, sale sheets and other collateral, email campaigns, press releases and pitch stories to press outlets, etc.
- Interview internal and external stakeholders to research and write case studies
- Develop and maintain relationships with Publications / Journalists to identify media and speaking engagement opportunities for clients
- Project manage and assist in the creation of multimedia content including video, PowerPoint, infographics, etc.
- Review and optimize content for SEO best practices and industry trends

Account Manager and Copywriter requirements:
- 4+ years of related experience
- Agency experience is preferred
- Strong writing, copyediting and proofreading experience
- Basic experience working in the Adobe Creative Suite is preferred to assist in populating templates with content and editing layout as needed

The ideal candidate is a self-starter and able to manage multiple projects at once with a high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
