One of Houston's top employers is looking for a Freelance Instructional Designer to join its team. This is a 40 hour/week assignment that starts within a couple weeks.

The ideal Instructional Designer has 3+ years of experience in a training role and a minimum of 2+ years of experience with designing e-learning modules and the ADDIE model.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in Instructional Design, e-Learning or Education
2+ years demonstrated proficiency in designing, building, and deploying instructor e-learning modules using real-time technology and the ADDIE model of curriculum development
Comprehensive knowledge of current instructional theories and principles applicable to both online and instructor-led learning programs.
Development of creative and engaging training materials for adult audience, in a variety of formats and media as well as storyboarding and user guides.
with an emphasis on Constructivist approaches.
Experience utilizing the Kirkpatrick 4 Level Assessment for training curriculums.
Experience in utilizing the various levels of Blooms taxonomy to construct learning objectives.
Excellent personal computer skills, including all MS Office applications: Outlook, Word, PPT, Excel
Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.
Able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Proficiency in Articulate Storyline 360 suite, Vyond Studio, with a good understanding of Sound editing software is required.
Ability to work in a highly collaborative team environment and also independently to deliver defined outcomes.
Ability to design and develop trainings with multimedia elements
Experience in researching/writing course content and/or developing courses, demonstrations, graphic designs and other technology driven products
Experience with SharePoint, Adobe Creative Suite, Vyond, Powtoons a plus.
Possesses an understanding and background of Learning Management Systems.

The Instructional Designer will be responsible for developing and analyzing high quality training content. In addition, you will have the responsibility of developing and administering training curriculum within a call center environment at multiple sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee development of training materials and programs by applying adult learning principles
Design and develop exercises, tutorials, job aids, assessments, virtual modules and other methods of learning
Analyze data
Oversee aspects of course quality including content, editorial, and overall presentation of material, tracking and resolving issues through LMS
Present in-person training as a necessary component of producing and refining training
Work with SME experts to ensure proper course objectives are met
Establish a system to review success of training material
