Our hospitality client is looking for an Integrated Communications Director preferably with international and/or consumer experience to join their team full time.

This Integrated Communications Director will lead strategic planning and direction for earned media initiatives, both domestic and international. Focus includes integrated communications, media relations and social media for B2B and B2C programs.

The role is cross functional and is a mix of program development, internal engagement and external communications.

This Integrated Communications Director will:
-Develop and lead external consumer and business media relations strategies
- Lead the creation, development and execution corporate and brand communications campaigns
- Partner with digital and internal communications teams to ensure cohesive strategy and drive consistent messaging and storytelling across audiences
- Support issues-related communications and messaging
- Create and drive compelling storylines that differentiates
- Engage, cultivate and manage high-level strategic media relationships
- Build and strengthen in-house media relations capabilities with business, trade and consumer media outlets and journalists by leveraging existing relationships, cultivating new contacts and managing inbound media inquiries to seize high-impact opportunities to tell our company’s story
- Network with external stakeholders and stay on the pulse of relevant news and trends, working to tie the business to broader industry conversations
- Oversee earned communications team to ensure steady drumbeat of program/brand stories
- Serve as point of contact for external media requests/inquiries

Integrated Communications Director Qualifications:
- 10+ years of PR and communications experience
- Experience executing B2C and B2B initiatives
- Bachelors degree
- Strategic thinking capabilities and can develop creative programs independently as needed
- Attention to detail and can manage and implement programs with excellence with support of internal and agency partners
- Experience managing team members and building an engaging and high performing work environment
- Proven relationship building skills and earned media expertise
- Travel and/or Hospitality experience a HUGE plus
