Our agency client in Washington, DC is looking for a Senior Designer/Art Director to join their team for a temp to perm opportunity.

This role is currently remote but will require onsite attendance when offices reopen

The ideal Senior Designer/Art Director is a Social Media Pro! You consume all things social and concept social campaigns in your sleep. Additional stars if you are an influencer in your own right!

75% of the work is for social content and campaigns.

This Senior Designer/Art Director must be able to conceptualize, create and deliver high quality content for clients.

Fluency in a variety of digital formats (data visualization, interactive PDFs, motion graphics, social media platforms, PPT, etc.) is what they are looking for!

Senior Designer/Art Director Responsibilities:
- Concept, plan, design, and deliver a full range of high-impact print and digital collateral, including: infographics and data visualization, presentations, reporting dashboards, storyboards and other assets for video, and social media
- Communicate design concepts with clear reasoning behind proposed solutions, both written and verbally with internal teams, as well as clients
- Work cross-functionally and within the team to participate in all stages of the design process, communicate timelines and status, ensure the appropriate concepts, themes and overall messaging strategy are represented and present to key stakeholders

Senior Designer/Art Director Qualifications:
- 3+ years of design experience preferably in an agency or in house brand agency team
- Must be proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects; Knowledge of Premiere a plus
- Story boarding and animation of social content and social assets.
- A eye for typography and layout hierarchy to develop fresh and innovative designs; illustration skills are a plus
- Fluent in a variety of digital delivery formats (data visualization, interactive PDFs, motion graphics, social media platforms, PPT, etc.)
- Exceptional conceptual and design skills and a diverse portfolio
- Ability to demonstrate big thinking across multiple channels for 360 campaigns
- A knack for strategic brainstorming, campaign development, and creative execution
- Can work effectively with all levels of management and on virtual teams
