Our client in Alexandria, VA is looking for a Social Media Manager to join their team. This position is ONSITE.

You will be in charge of leading the development and execution of the client's social media brand and reputation management across digital channels.

Duties of the Social Media Manager:
- Oversee the day to day management of social media campaigns, reputation management, and ensure metrics are met
- Work with the Communications team to set the social strategy, concept campaign promotions and thought leadership opportunities
- Lead a team of social media content creators to develop digital content including editorial calendars, posts, etc
- Deliver social campaigns that align with larger business goals to drive brand awareness, lead generation, and thought leadership using Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc
- Work across departments to ensure social campaigns promote products, events, members, key stakeholders etc to further elevate the brand and add value for the members
- Set metrics for campaigns, analyze the data and provide reports/findings on opportunities to improve campaigns, increase audience reach etc
- Oversee the design of all social graphics - ensure all social content meets brand standards and guidelines

Requirements of the Social Media Manager:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, etc
- 8+ years of communications, marketing, etc experience (6 years of which must be focused in Social Media)
- Experience developing social media strategy, editorial calendars and editorial content
- Examples of social media campaigns i.e. content, editorial calendars, etc
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Social Studio, etc
- Experience managing a direct report
- Experience working closely with C-level stakeholders highly preferred
