Marketo Specialist - WFH during Covid-19

Our international policy think tank client in Washington, DC is looking for an Marketo Specialist to join their team on a temporary to permanent contract. This position is 40 hours a week.

You must have two years of experience working as a Marketo administrator to be considered for this role. You should be comfortable training and managing up to 75 users.

Duties of the Marketo Specialist:
- Act as the organization expert on Marketo - train internal users on best practices, practical steps to improve automated emails
- Assist with the building and deployment of emails as needed
- Plan, build, schedule, and deploy emails campaigns
- Support internal teams to launch new products including e-mail newsletters, invitations, press releases, donor/VIP/board correspondence
- Establish KPIs to gauge email campaign success
- Maintain Marketo folder structure and governance policies
- Oversee email calendar, mitigate potential oversaturation and find ways to increase engagement
- Monitor campaigns for bounce backs, click throughs, open rates
- Develop and apply Sender Policy Framework and Domain Key Identified Mail in DNS systems - manage infrastructure level configurations with IT team
- Manage roles and permissions for all Marketo users
- Develop and update Marketo training resources

Requirements of the Marketo Specialist:
- 2+ years of professional experience
- 2+ years of experience acting as a Marketo administrator
- Bachelor's degree
- Expert knowledge of Marketo
- Experience building and deploying emails within Marketo
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS
- Comfortable working independently and across departments in a consultative manner
