Our client, a global manufacturer and distributor of consumer goods, is looking for a Packaging Designer to support their team.
The Packaging Designer will ideally start on a part time (3 days per week) basis, with the potential to convert to a salaried employee in 2021.
Packaging Designer responsibilities:
- Tackle all packaging production - preparing art files, dielines, and repurposing existing specifications
- Manage multiple projects for retailer brands and private label brands
- Work with physical packaging proofs to ensure product accuracy
- Design miscellaneous print materials as needed
- Concept & present new creative ideas for packaging, researching leading brands in the marketplace
Packaging Designer background:
- 2+ years packaging design & production experience
- Must have understanding of packaging file prep and specs
- Advanced skills with Adobe Creative Cloud
- Ability to work quickly with strong attention to detail
- Conceptual thinker with a passion for packaging!
- FDA experience HUGE plus
*3 days per week to start - WILL require some onsite work in Mooresville. Potential for full time salary.
