Our client, a national home improvement company, is looking for a results driven Marketing Director with D2C experience to join their team. This role is currently remote but will be onsite near Columbia, MD when offices reopen.

This Marketing Director will be responsible for the strategy and execution of successful direct-response marketing programs, for new and existing customers. You will manage and oversee media, creative, messaging, etc. in tandem with the digital team and liaise with vendors for execution.

Marketing Director responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic inbound marketing plans to achieve company goals including lead generation, Sales and other KPIs via media including print, broadcast, digital, streaming, email, social media and direct marketing. This includes writing marketing copy, updating creative collateral, producing creative materials, negotiating media buys, and monitoring marketing deadlines, as well as approval of work done through outside vendors
- Report on campaign effectiveness, ROI and other metrics internally and externally with media partners
- Manage vendor relationships with agencies and other marketing partners in design and production of creative materials and media plans as required
- Develop polished and consistent marketing message to a targeted demographic; maintaining brand consistency across assets and events
- Oversee marketing team, providing support, coaching and development

Marketing Director qualifications:
- 10 years of Marketing experience, including management and developing consumer-focused integrated marketing campaigns across print, digital, OOH, etc
- Direct response and/or marketing agency experience is required
- Expert level of budget management with strong project management and analytical skills
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, email marketing, social media tools
- Experience in managing, training and supervising performance of small teams is required
- Able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Bachelor’s Degree required, in Marketing or Communications preferred
