Our agency client in Washington, DC is looking for an Account Director with strong business development skills to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing agency.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing accounts focused on multicultural campaigns and initiatives. You will be comfortable driving the strategy initiatives for your clients.

Duties of the Accounts Director:
- Set the direction and vision for the client's brand
- Serve as the clients main point of contact at the agency - sets agendas for update/status meetings, manage the projects/programs, and manage budgets/timelines
- Solidify and grow client relationships and uncover opportunities for the agency to support the client with creative, media, or social campaigns
- Manage the scope of work and sell incremental project
- Recognize and resolve conflict solutions
- Respond to inquires from potential clients
- Network and drive new business development for the agency
- Develop and pitch new and existing clients to grow business

Requirements of the Accounts Director:
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience account planning, and business development
- Experience working with on campaigns targeting the African American community highly preferred
- Experience working with account/brands targeting GenZ and Millennials
- Experience working in an agency environment
- Experience selling social media, digital marketing, OOH, etc campaigns
