Our agency client in Washington, DC is looking for a Social Media Community Manager to join their team on an immediate need. The initial need is 4 weeks with a high likelihood of extension.

You must have experience working on multicultural campaigns and developing content for target audiences. Experience developing social media content targeting African American communities highly preferred.

The ideal Social Media Community Manager candidate will enjoy writing copy, developing basic visuals/photos, and growing the online community engagement.

Duties of the Social Media Community Manager
- Manage social media community engagement for multiple clients .
- Implement social media content for clients - independently and by leveraging internal resources
- Conduct social listening and community engagement for targeted campaigns and audiences
- Develop editorial calendars and content to drive growth and increase community engagement
- Utilize data and metrics to generate actionable insights

Requirements of the Social Media Community Manager:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3+ years of experience managing multiple social media campaigns
- Experience developing copy/content targeted toward African American audiences
- Experience developing editorial calendars
- Experience responding to community members
- Proficient in social listening tools i.e. Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Crimson Hexagon
- Experience working in an agency environment highly preferred
- Knowledge of Google Analytics, Omniture, WebTrends
