Our educational not for profit client in Washington, DC is looking for a Digital Communications Coordinator to join their team on a contract through the end of April.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on various corporate initiatives including social medial, partnerships and virtual events.

Duties of the Digital Communications Coordinator:
- Provide support to the Communication team by developing, editing and publishing content to various channels i.e. press releases, social/blog posts, etc
- Review content and ensure all content meets brand standards and guidelines
- Support the development and implementation of proactive earned media
- Assist in the development of media lists, media outreach, content development
- Develop social media and brand kits including images and captions for press use
- Pull social media metrics and assist with the management of the editorial calendar.

Requirements of the Digital Communications Coordinator:
- Bachelor's Degree in Journalism, Communications, Public Relations
- 2+ years of professional public relations, social media, communications experience
- Knowledge of AP Stylebook
- Excellent writing skills
- Knowledge of Salesforce and Earned Media highly preferred
- Experience developing content for social media
