Our telecommunications client in the Arlington, VA area is seeking a full-time Social Media Manager to join the team by November 1, 2020.

As the Social Media Manager, you will be a part of the Digital Marketing team, working in tandem with various internal teams and vendors alike to expand the company's social footprint.

Responsibilities of the Social Media Manager:
-Developing and Implementing a Social Media Strategy and social campaigns for Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and LinkedIn across regional brands, ensuring they align with business goals
-Regulating that Social Media Policy and legal documentation is up to date and teams are operating within lawful parameters
-Lead team training sessions on Social Media best practices, and act as an internal consultant to corporate and regional marketing teams on user engagement, events and promotions
-Monitor analytics, metrics and KPI's of social media programs and campaigns, always challenging industry trends and adapting best practices
-Create engaging and relevant web and social content to improve brand awareness
-Working with creative agencies to manage graphic and video asset production
-Oversee and write both long and short-form content for web and social
-Proof daily editorial campaign copy, editorial calendars and marketing efforts
-Runs social technology and boosted editorial budgets
-Lead overseeing and improving customer communication programs

Requirements of the Social Media Manager:
-Bachelor's degree in business, communications or marketing. Master's is a plus.
-5+ years' experience in digital marketing, web content marketing, social media management, and PR/communications and video
-2+ year's experience in managing marketing and campaign management
-Strong long and short-form writing skills
-Strong ability to understand data and translate in to actionable plan
-Proven understanding of social media technology and digital applications
-Proven understanding of SEO/SEM and paid and organic digital media
-Proficient in MS Suite, Excel, Tableau, Adobe Marketing Suite and Google Analytic
-Must be highly organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing people while overseeing multiple deadlines
