Our well-known financial services client is looking to hire two UX Designers to join their in-house agency team on a flexible hybrid schedule in San Francisco, CA, Minneapolis, MN or Charlotte, NC. This role can be contract-to-hire OR direct/full-time hire.

Basic Qualifications:
- 2+ years of client-facing working experience within UX / UI Design, Interaction Design, user centered design or combination.
- Agency and/or in-house agency experience
- Portfolio showcasing strategic/creative excellence across a broad spectrum of interactive touch points
- Demonstrated experience with user-centered design tools Sketch, Figma, Adobe CC Suite, and other standard industry software and methodology

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience creating and using a variety of deliverables such as personas, scenarios, task flows, navigation diagrams, wireframes, etc.
- Well versed in human-centered design tools, research, and documentation across a range of project types and complexities
- Experience in creating impactful, engagement-driving experiences (financial services experience is a plus)
- Ability to work creatively within an established design system with a limited number of templates and components
- Working knowledge of HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript

Day to Day:
- Deliver human-centered design thinking through user flows, wireframes, information architecture, design and interaction requirements, and other planning and user experience documentation in agency projects
- Supporting discovery efforts, design exercises and project work sessions as needed to inspire and activate creative collaboration
- Building on agency knowledge bank for user experience and channel specific requirements, trends and innovations
- Digging for critical insights that drive project solutions and joining with the broader creative team to think conceptually during brainstorming and idea generation
- Working with internal creative, agile teams and clients to understand business goals and customer needs, and using that understanding to design strategic, interactive concepts that drive projects from discovery through QA/delivery
