UX Specialist (Customer Experience) - Remote/Off-site

Our nonprofit client in Manassas, VA. is looking for a UX Specialist to join their team.

Due to the current COVID-19 circumstance this opportunity is remote for 40 hours each week starting on or about mid July, 2020 through January 31, 2021.

Work hours are weekdays 8am-5pm with flexibility on a case by case basis discussed with supervisor.

UX Specialist Responsibilities:
- 6+ years of experience
- Participate in meetings with project members
- Collaborate with the team to create user acceptance criteria, usability testing protocols, user journey maps and stories
- Conduct user acceptance testing to confirm human behaviors
- Manage usability testing scripts and provide updates to development team to address any adjustments needed and optimize the website
- Conduct usability tests with internal stakeholders and train them on the website's new customer journey procedures, internal and external communications plans
- Assist in the development of communication strategies for internal change management

UX Specialist Requirements:
- Understanding of the customer experience process, quality assurance, and best practices in web development
- Experience in behavioral science, human-computer interaction, computer science, or other related field
- Competence in software testing methodology
- Experience in written requirements and use cases
