A client in Washington, DC is looking for a Communications Strategist to help their team on a long term contract until the end of the year (December 2020).

- The Communications Strategist will lead communications strategy development and implementation around voting rights
- Provide strategic direction for the program and assist program leadership in developing goals.
- Work with the director on a campaign that fights voter suppression at the state and local level.
- Craft strategic and forward leaning communications plans.

- The Communications Strategist will have 5 to 7 years experience in media relations and communications in the public affairs realm.
- Experience with producing press releases, social media content, messaging guidance, and pitch memos.
- Record of working in fast-paced environments
- Experience working with diverse audiences, including elected officials, community leaders, coalition partners, and the public.
