Our Global CPG client is hiring an Internal Communication Specialist with at least 1 year experience to join their team. This is a full-time contractor position for 18 months with opportunity to convert to permanent.

The Internal Communications Specialist is a dedicated resource for the Global Strategic Business Unit supporting the Senior Functional Teams and Regions for increased global internal communication.

Basic Qualifications:
- College graduate with degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Communications or related field or relevant experience (5 years) in this area
- Ideally 3 years experience in communications (corporate, agency, media)
- Strong relationship building
- Understanding of complex/ matrix organizations
- Writing for video/ reel production and visual graphics/ creative
- Internal client interviewing skills
- Knowledge of technology/ digital savvy and social media platforms (MS Teams, Workplace by Facebook, LinkedIn)

- Establish a strong long-term relationship with GSBU, including teams like Institute, R&D, Accelerator Lab and the Regional Internal Communications Teams
- Build and drive the execution of a running global internal communications yearly master plan
- Create new global content (e.g. regular global performance up-dates, events, people changes in global teams, projects & initiatives, new research/ patents, launches, investments) in collaboration with the GSBU, GSC and Senior Functional Teams
- Establish and maintain the digital global internal comms ecosystem and latest digital/ virtual tools. Feed the ecosystem with regular new global content by using conservative and internal social media tools
- Report and analyze key data relevant to global communication efforts on a regular basis. (i.e. number of likes, views, reactions). Run surveys to provide insights on relevance.
- Serve as point of contact for all Regional Internal Comms leads to submit their content for broader distribution and other teams like Institute, R&D etc. on new factory construction and expansion projects, relaunches, etc.
