Our client, located in Duluth has an immediate need for a Graphic Designer to work ONSITE with the Marketing team.

Essential Functions of The Graphic Designer:
- Create great designs from concept through final execution
- Work in multiple channels including print, digital and video
- Responsible for the design and delivery of print and digital assets such as catalogs, one-sheets, brochures, inserts, hero slides, social media posts, email marketing elements
- Partners and collaborates effectively with a small team of designers, production artists, and developers, internal clients, and external vendors
- Ability to balance high-priority, long-term projects with short-term immediate deadlines
- Strong ability to work independently, but also shows enthusiasm and thrives in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Manages multiple tasks and projects efficiently

- 4+ years graphic design experience (experience may include design school)
- BFA or equivalent education in graphic design
- A portfolio demonstrating proficiency in digital and print with applications in branding, marketing and corporate communications
- Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Motion graphic experience a plus (Premiere, After Effects)
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Exceptional typography and conceptual skills in print and digital design
- Expert experience with digital retouching and image production using photoshop
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite - Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- Has an understanding of best practices in web design and UX
- Strong knowledge of the design and production cycle for print

This is a 40 hour a week, long term freelance to possible full-time opportunity after 6 or more months.
