Our Engineering client needs a full time Proposal Manager to create winning and competitive business propositions.

The Proposal Manager will manage a small team and lead the proposal process for the Atlanta office, collaborating with business development and project management teams to develop distinctive, differentiating and competitive value propositions.

Responsibilities include:
- Lead Proposal Pursuit process (draft and storyboards) and work with department leads to determine objectives and requirements.
- Manage and enforce go/no-go decisions and manage kick off meetings
- Manage the interview and presentation strategy, generation and preparation.
- Manage post-submittal activities
- Manage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) activity and global practice or regional office reporting.
- Superuser of CRM system and functionality.
- Manage the submittal for industry awards, and local and national trade publications.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop business plan, objectives and requirements, interpreting and establishing policies, procedures, and strategic goals of the organization.
- Develop department tools and work flows to increase efficiency of designs, specification development, and project execution.
- Manage asset creation and graphics library.

Proposal Manager requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business administration or related field
- 10+ years of experience in AEC industry, preferred
- Experience in Engineering, Procurement and Construction proposal production
- Experience managing, leading and mentoring a team
- The ideal candidate has excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
- APMP certification or equivalent, preferred.
- Proficiency with Adobe InDesign is preferred
