Our technology client is looking for a Senior UX Designer to join their team full time in Johns Creek.

The Senior UX Designer will be part of the Product team and will work with Product Managers, Technical Leads, Architects and will report to the VP of Product to define and build the company's user experience.

• Collaborate closely with other UX and UI designers to create a low friction user experience
• Create user flows, journey maps and personas
• Systematically track the voice of consumers on existing products to identify key areas of UX improvements and work with the UX team to generate new product concepts, further develop products and validate proposed user experiences
• Collaborate with Product, UI Design and Engineering teams to build long-term product strategy and roadmaps which optimize for ease of use, content discovery and consumption
• Build lightweight interactive prototype concepts for communications within the organization and for usability studies
• Lead and participate in global and local consumer research including usability testing
• Understand and incorporate complex business and technical requirements into elegant design decisions based on data, trends and industry best practices
• Present, articulate and sell ideas to and recommendations to Product Management and other stakeholders
• Translate user experience requirements to Development and partner with UI and Product team members to develop user stories
• Work with Product and Development to track the effectiveness of new and existing user experiences and make recommendations for adjustments where needed
• Partner with Development, Product and Business and Design teams to reach optimal solutions for the product vision, consumer experience, time to market and product cost
• Partner with international marketing teams on key initiatives

• BA/BS or commensurate experience
• Experience in UX research by combination of quantitative data and qualitative user insights
• Background with global customers and developing products used in multiple cultures and/or by multiple user groups
• Proficient using Axure and/or other wireframing tools to create product flows and user-interactions
• Ability to lead brainstorming workshops and usability discussions
• Skilled at bringing ideas to life through workflows and basic UI designs
• Ability to imagine and illustrate product flows to help meet business goals. Ability to define and measure the UX metrics and KPI’s needed to achieve the goals
• Experienced with modern forms of product planning, customer discovery, product discovery, and product development process
• Experienced with agile/lean methodologies
• Thorough understanding of product life cycles, UX principles, engineering constraints and design thinking
• Passion for consumer electronics and technology with a keen interest in industry issues and competitors

This is a full time position based in Johns Creek.
