UX Designer - WFH during Covid-19

Our fintech client is looking for a UX Designer to join their team for a 9+ month freelance engagement that will convert to full time for the right fit.

The UX Designer will help the Marketing Creative Services team shape how customers discover, consider, use, and interact with various communication channels. The UX Designer will bring both the art of design and the science of human interaction to challenge the status quo and deliver an unparalleled customer experience.

UX DESIGNER RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leverage expertise to convert detailed designs into interactive experiences using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Partner with senior designers to match visual design intent and to help define the balance between a beautiful interface with an intuitive, easy to use experience
- Attend and participate in concept and designs, iterating on designs driven by strategy, best practices, and feedback
- Act as the customer-advocate during the design and development process, subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing or expert review, and offering implementation suggestions from a user-centered design perspective
- Use research-related services, theories and methods to support recommendations
- Co-create visual hierarchy, behavior, and match standards of features and enhancements across web properties
- Collaborate on the development of wireframes, behavioral specifications and personas
- Collaborate on the development of user flows for the customer journey to create a cohesive web and multi-media presence
- Ensure consistency of user flow, visual presentation and application of existing branding across products and services
- Create integrated websites, microsites, landing pages, and emails leveraging Hubspot CRM platform
- Maintain, expand, and scale existing initiatives

UX DESIGNER REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years of experience in a UX Designer role
- Portfolio showcasing strong design skills in developing customer-facing digital experiences
- Team player and energetic
- Ability to strategically identify and solve complex technical challenges

This is a freelance to full time starting as early as the beginning of November.
