Our corporate client has an immediate need for an External Communications Coordinator to support the development and execution of external customer communications.

The External Communications Coordinator will also serve as a project manager for required communications that supporting multiple departments. This candidate MUST have strong project management and writing skills.

- Create and manage delivery of external content for enterprise customer and safety campaigns, programs and initiatives to support strategic business objectives.
- Customer communications, includes monthly bill insert/messaging, customer correspondence and eNewsletters.
- Safety communications, includes required mailings and print/digital ads.
- Support development and execution of enterprise communication plans that help increase customer satisfaction and protect company brands.
- Provide planning and execution support as needed for external-facing events.

Required for the External Communications Coordinator:
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications or similar combination education and work experience
- 3 years’ experience
- Microsoft Office tools including Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Strong written communications skills
- Solid project management skills
- Ability to transform complex content into easy-to-understand, relevant and relatable content for audiences
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines

This is a virtual, full-time opportunity that may start out as freelance for a few months first.
