Associate UI Design Director - Fully Remote/Off-site

Rate Up to $75/hour, depending on experience.
Our agency client is looking for an Associate UI Design Director.

This role is:
- Fully remote
- 40 hours/week
- Through mid-March 2022, with possibility of contract to hire

In this role, you will:
- Support and mentor the visual design team across all phases of projects from strategy to design to launch
- Partner with clients to ensure all business goals are met; growing and nurturing client relationships
- Serve as an SME in all things visual design to help lead clients and team members
- Work with a portfolio of Fortune 50 clients across a variety of industries
- Synthesize and translate abstract and complex concepts into simple, thoughtful design solutions that solve business problems
- Lead new business pitches and proposal development, in collaboration with sr. leadership

Ideal candidate:
- 7+ years' experience in a digital agency setting
- 5+ years' client-facing experience
- 3+ years' experience mentoring visual designers
- Expertise in visual design with a diverse portfolio that shows your user-centered design experience
- Expert in visual and user-centered design principles
- A visual designer at your core, but have a deep understanding of UX, and a strategic POV about the art and science behind your work
