An agency client in MD is looking for an Account Manager with CPG and/or B2B experience to join their team.

The ideal candidate has a lot of energy, a passion for digital trends, and can build a strong relationships!

Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of communication/design strategy
- Lead contract negotiations
- Work with internal teams to present and sell communications plans and creative concepts
- Manage client expectations
- Write solid and concrete creative briefs
- Offer solutions for any upcoming issues
- Establish and maintain revenue goals and projections.
- Oversee client budgets
- Review estimates, quotes and invoices
- Lead a team of junior staff- set goals, mentor, coach.
- Review major media and public relations plans before submission to clients
- Ensure strategies are defined, approved by clients, and understood by teams.
- Work with internal team to manage the project scope and set budget and timeline.
- Develop Account Plans and monitor progress

Requirements:
- 5-7+ years of experience - agency preferred.
- Food Industry knowledge, CPG, and B2B experience
- Experience using Workamajig or similar software.
- Background in integrated marketing/digital new media account service required.
- Proven track record in developing and executing marketing strategy.
- Strong prospecting, project and client management skills.
- Microsoft Office suite
