Our client, a global financial services data and insights group, is looking for a Marketing Director with experience in B2B financial and / or professional services experience to join their team.

**Please note, this role will be required to be onsite in Manhattan 3 days per week starting in December. You must be fully vaccinated.**

In this role, the Marketing Director will be responsible for planning and executing fully integrated marketing strategies and creating brand differentiation in support of the company's global businesses. Working closely with brand teams and internal stakeholders, you'll work to understand business objectives and develop and execute marketing plans to achieve them. Marketing plans will encompass strategies across content, product marketing, advertising, branding, event strategy and more.

Specific responsibilities for the Marketing Director include:

- acting as marketing subject matter expert for for consulting with business partners
- advising key stakeholders on optimal communications and marketing efforts through annual planning and budgeting
- developing strategies for paid, owned, earned media, integrated events, social media and website marketing strategy
- overseeing go-to-market activities, including end-to-end project management of new research releases and product launches
- work with creative and video teams to understand and develop effective marketing, creative content and collateral, including print, digital, social, email and video assets
- work with business partners and in-house Events team to execute and market regional events

Requirements for the Marketing Director include:

- minimum 7-10+ years of professional marketing experience, with extensive experience working in the B2B, financial and / or professional services space; strong understanding of fixed income, capital markets and financial data services and solutions landscape highly desired
- very strong communication and copywriting skills; experience developing marketing messages for various audiences and platforms/channels (social media, email, advertising copy, etc.).
- proven experience developing and executing annual strategic marketing plans and budgets, while executing tactical cross-channel marketing programs
- experience developing product marketing collateral with a focus on driving recurring platform and product interest, engagement and adoption.
- robust project management experience, including planning, organizing, and executing simultaneous projects and activities
- experience working with internal and external creative / design teams to deliver compelling and innovative user experiences, across print, web, social and video
- strong digital marketing acumen
- collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to work well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
- proficient with marketing technology including CRM (Salesforce) and e-mail marketing tools(Marketo),as well as Excel and PowerPoint
- Bachelors degree
