UX Researcher / Senior Design Strategist, Service and Behavioral Design

Our client, a well known and highly regarded consumer goods and pharma company, is currently seeking a freelance Senior Design Strategist and Researcher to join their team for long term work, through 2022.

This is a hybrid opportunity with 3days/week onsite in JAX and 2days/week remote, starting asap after the interview process continuing through 2022, 40hrs/week with potential to extend.

To be considered-for this role, please respond back with the following:
* Case studies / portfolio showing your research process and results regarding design strategy and actionable strategy solutions. ideally within behavioral change (storytelling, outlining process visually, how did you contribute to the strategy that was implemented by client)
* Experience with healthcare and/or Pharma or enterprise clients and/or service or behavior design

Responsibilities:
- Work cross functionally with teams on the research and strategy development (both digital and human service) focusing on visual health space and behavioral change
- Proactively identify research opportunities with potential for meaningful product impact and organize / lead research workshops in the area
- Clearly communicate insights and learnings, tying directly to actionable next steps and impact on customer experience and product direction
- Lead brainstorming and alignment sessions, ensuring the user voice is present in customer experience and product decisions
- Produce journey maps, service experience prototypes, empathy maps and value proposition proposals
- Utilize UX tools to build a comprehensive 360-degree view of the current state of user experience
- Create service design blueprints, journey maps and concept designs / prototypes to build a comprehensive 360-degree view in various ux journeys
- Conduct primary, secondary, and analogous research to plan and conduct workshops in partnership with product and marketing teams as well as doctors and consumers as needed
- Work closely with a core team to test comprehensive concepts, marketing and in-office patient experiences
- Ability to see patterns in subjective data and formulate insights and assist with leading teams in synthesis: building insights, reframing problems, and generating and iterating on new solutions

Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in UX design / service design or related field; a graduate degree is preferred
- 7+ years of design, UX, research and/or strategy related experience ideally within healthcare
- Ability to inspire, persuade, grow, and lead project teams
- Work experience with complex projects where you are able to show your role and impact through Case Studies
- Systems approach to design and value creation, with exhibited ability to identify relevant assumptions and to
model value, potential ROI, etc.
- Genuine interest and curiosity about service design, behavioral design and connecting to customers / patients to frame insights into possible solutions
- Demonstrate excellence in any one (or combination) of the following skills: Novel, experimental design research / insight-gathering methodologies, Synthesis / Workshop design / Facilitation, Data Visualization
