B2B Product Marketing Manager - Fully Remote/Off-site

Our client, a well known Fortune 500 company, is looking for a hands on B2B Product Marketing Manager to join their team 40 hours per week, fully remote, for 6 months with the potential to either renew or convert to full-time.

This is a remote role but ideally candidates are local enough to the Northern NJ area to be onsite maybe once a month or once every 2 months but it's not a deal breaker.

B2B Product Marketing Manager Details
• At least 2 years of experience working independently is required, ideally at least some previous experience in a B2B role
• This is a classic product marketing role for sales enablement, crafting the messaging (presentations, sell sheets, job aids, etc.)
• Work with product management on product advocacy + help launch new capabilities
• Over time this role will focus on 1-2 products but starting out it will be across many
• Familiarity with/an understanding of a complex buyer journey for an enterprise sale is helpful (realizing there are multiple stakeholders in the buying process, for example)

B2B Product Marketing Manager Responsibilities
• Messaging & Positioning: articulate the value proposition for select products including talent acquisition and talent management products
• Develop a compelling value proposition to differentiate our client’s products from competitors
• Create and maintain message platforms to enable stakeholders across Marketing, Sales and Product (among others)
• Help bring the products to market by assisting in the development of marketing plans, launch plans and communications
• Product Evangelism: Showcase the evolution of select products, for both internal and external audiences
• Evangelize and publicize key product news and milestones, including product road maps
• Serve as a contact for product knowledge, subject matter expertise, and industry insight

B2B Product Marketing Manager Requirements
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, ideally some from B2B tech marketing / product marketing / related roles
• Experience in working with and empowering sales teams
• Experience developing and communicating product messaging successfully deployed by sales and marketing teams
• Knowledge and experience in B2B technology and Human Capital Management (HCM) is a plus but not required
• Experience working within large businesses is a plus but not required

The hiring manager is output oriented; some of the quantifiable deliverables for the role could be a sales deck, a PPT, etc. so light writing and PPT skills are ideal.
