Our client, a home goods retail company, is looking to hire a full-time Digital Content Manager for web and mobile sites, who has Magento experience and technical expertise, based in NJ working hybrid remote and onsite.

Magento experience is required.

Magento certification is a plus but is not required.

The Digital Content Manager will be part of the 8 person marketing team and will be the in-house expert for their web and mobile sites, also partnering with their outside digital agency on their site that has a catalog of 500+ products with multiple categories and subcategories.

A proven track record of managing and developing business to business (B2B) eCommerce websites on a Magento platform is required.

Digital Content Manager Main Responsibilities
• Day-to-day management and maintenance of how their product catalog is presented on the website – creating products, upload imagery, adjusting and organizing data for products and product categories and updating homepage, secondary and category pages
• Close collaborating with the outside digital agency on growth tasks, bugs and project sprints, overseeing that partnership
• Be the lead and go-to resource on sprints – platform updates and large, complicated and complex digital enhancements and additions
• Responding to customer and staff questions on website
• Meeting with internal stakeholders to gather project requirements
• Planning and road mapping of web projects
• Help analyze, report and communicate web performance analytics at regular intervals to point out success and areas of improvements
• Collaborating with marketing team to launch new products, improve online customer experience and extend digital marketing reach
• Adopting of other third-party extensions that would be beneficial for the website
• Prioritizing tasks, bugs and projects and maintain enhancement and project budgets
• Drive strategy and enhancements and make strong business recommendations
• Oversee the website's technical SEO including but not limited to site architecture, load speeds, bounce rates and mobile friendliness

Digital Content Manager Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or similar degree
• 2+ years managing production eCommerce websites in Magento Commerce frameworks (ability to configure functionality on the Magento 2+ platform is key; development experience is a plus but not required)
• Salsify and BazaarVoice experience is a plus
• Must be comfortable making internal recommendations
• Being detailed-oriented during QA/UAT process – you'll be the first and last person to test all new features and new products
• Knowledge of SEO best practices and how search results are generated from third-party vendor
• Insight into digital trends for B2B websites (experience with B2C is also helpful)
• Understanding of marketing terminology and the user experience
• Ability to address problem areas on website that can be handled in-house or assigned to digital agency
• Translate complex digital processes in laymen's terms to staff

Experience managing a complex website consisting of a catalog of at least 500 products with multiple categories and subcategories will be imperative to success!
