Our Social Media Tech client is currently seeking a Freelance Content Strategist for a 3 month contract.

Content Strategist Responsibilities:
- Develop a creative vision for their editorial calendars and developing relevant scalable content franchises
- You’ll play a fundamental role in building their b2b brands, developing best-in-class content that showcases creative thought leadership and provocative trends,
• Act as Editor in Chief when it comes to content creation including making hard decisions, ruthless edits, and iterating your development process as necessary
• Lead content development in a hands-on way: researching, authoring, writing and editing, and producing content, including articles with multimedia features, digital campaigns, newsletters, and promotional copy around the creative opportunity that exists across the platform
• Set the editorial course for B2B content in collaboration with the Content Development Team
• Have a strong creative pulse on up and coming trends and techniques that people are using to author, develop, and create content across the platform
• Design and experiment with new production processes around new content types and styles
• Create a detailed vision of the editorial strategy and positioning of content to grow content engagement with target audience
• Take content from ideation to execution (including editing, collaborating on photo/visual elements, etc.)
• Partner with creatives/contributors around the world to help source stories, topics, and approaches that resonate with our target audience
• Establish a brief and devise content that ladders into high-level goals and business objectives.
• Develop and brainstorm creative concepts for new content franchise ideas and cross-channel campaigns
• Provide clear and actionable creative direction, and ensuring deliverables meet our high standards of quality
• Manage cross-functional relationships and information sharing between teams
• Analyze data to inform creative decision-making with regards to individual creative and long-term strategy
• Partner with Production team ensuring accurate project statements of work, estimates and related parameters

Content Strategist Qualifications:
• Portfolio link on resume required
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Demonstrated ability working with a global team to help create daily editorial content across various platforms for an international audience.
• 6+ years of content creation experience, with relevancy to the creative/advertising industry
• High personal editorial standards
• Excellent team management, communication, and people skills
• Experience developing highly coveted digital content from a strategic and creative perspective
• Experience in managing multiple, large projects simultaneously with various stakeholders and partners
• Previous editorial experience, especially in a decision-making capacity
• Superb copywriting and creative editing skills
• Experience as a motivated, scrappy self-starter
• Must know how to use Keynote
• Experience identifying relevant trends and moving fast to integrate them
• Strong understanding of effective content across social media and digital channels
