Account Supervisor (Public Relations) - Health, Pharma + Food portfolio - WFH during Covid-19

Our PR agency client is looking for an Account Supervisor to join their team full time to work on a portfolio of clients in the health, pharma and food sectors. What you'll be doing as the Account Supervisor in this role:
- Working on communications programs to support life-saving medications/treatments, medical devices, vaccines + food brands.
- Driving agenda for client meetings/status calls; providing client counsel, including issues management.
- Building strategic communication plans including digital, content and social media.
- Being involved in the drafting of proposals, program outlines and/or budget estimates.
- Implementing day-to-day tactical activations including engaging influencers/content creators, community management programs, reporting of adverse events to appropriate health and safety authorities, media relations campaigns, planning physical or virtual special events and product launches.
- Researching and developing communications/media materials, key messages, Q&As, campaign/ project briefing documents, brainstorm briefs, collateral materials, social media content, activity/status reports, etc. in a timely manner as required by senior team and/or clients.
- Researching, vetting, procurement and management of third-party organizations, partners and/or campaign spokespeople (including healthcare professionals, Registered Dietitians; influencers and celebrity talent) on behalf of clients.
- Developing/vetting media / influencer lists, editorial calendars, etc.
- Tracking media coverage, compile coverage reports

Skills and Experience:
- 6+ years in Public Relations (agency experience preferred). - Well experienced with Influencer and media relations including pitching, developing strong relationships, generating unique content/story ideas/pitches, managing and reporting on social and earned editorial/coverage and commenting for clients
- Comfortable leading event planning efforts including supplier relations, logistics, on-site event management and media relations, etc.
- Familiar with social monitoring tools, Google Analytics, etc.
- Experience tracking of client budgets; vendor invoices and supporting with management of team utilization.
- Solid experience implementing national programs.
- Proven experience reviewing RFPs/briefings and providing input on proposals and budgets, contributing to the research/immersion process.
- Desire to be creative and participate in brainstorming sessions and/or client pitches.
