Our client, the world's #1 discovery platform, is seeking a Public Relations Manager to join their team.

**Please note, this role will be a hybrid schedule, you will need to be in the office 2-3 days per week. A laptop will be provided to you!**

The Public Relations Manager will be responsible for:

- Development and implementation of public relations strategies to support company goals and initiatives, helping to increase brand awareness and shape public perception
- Researching, writing and distributing communications to targeted media
- Pitching national and regional media across broadcast, print, and online
- Outreach to build new relationships and network with the media
- Promoting news stories, bylines and features to the media
- Tracking and reporting on global media placements.
- Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals, broadcasts, newswires and blogs to provide executive updates and recommendations
- Sourcing interesting topics to talk about publicly, such as new publishers or advertisers that become customers, stories tied to timely events that use the company's readership data, new product announcements, and more
- Managing several PR agencies worldwide in coordination with field marketing teams
- Handling 3-4 major PR campaigns per month

The ideal Public Relations Manager must:

- Have a minimum of 2+ years of PR experience, ideally within the following industries: Adtech, Martech or B2B tech
- Previous in-house and agency experience is preferred
- Possess strong editorial skills and standards
- Have experience creating high quality content including press releases, Q&A, etc
- Be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite
- Have a deep understanding of and experience in digital advertising
- Have existing relationships with press in advertising/marketing trade publications
- Design experience to translate data/insights into compelling visuals, or ability to work with our in-house creative team to do so, is highly preferred
- Be willing to work non-traditional hours as needed in order to meet deadlines and accommodate colleagues around the globe
- Be very hands on with excellent writing skills
- Have previous experience working cross functionally with marketing teams, products teams, the C-suite, etc.
- Be a self-starter that can pick up a project and run with it
- Be extremely detail-oriented and organized
- Be able to pivot quickly and shift priorities as needed
- Be understand and be able to speak the "tech lingo" to advertiser and publishers
- Understand and be aware of cultural differences when working with global teams
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Be comfortable working on tight deadlines
