Post-Production Assistant - Freelance - WFH during Covid-19

Our client, a choice-driven content creation, publishing and e-commerce platform, is seeking a freelance Post-Production Assistant to support their in-house Production team through the end of the year!

**Please note that this role is remote for the time being and a laptop will be provided to you**

The Post-Production Assistant will be responsible for:

- Owning the wrap delivery process
- Coordinating paper & media wrap deliveries from production partners
- Receiving paper deliverables via Dropbox and media deliverables via hard drive
- Organizing video footage, entering it into the system, making sure that the correct assets are being delivered and uploaded, ensuring that paperwork is signed and countersigned, etc.
- Conducting a review of deliverables received, to confirm that all files are accessible and follow the client's guidelines
- Coordinate with production and legal teams to resolve any issues with wraps delivered
- Administrative tasks such as generating and regularly updating deliverable checklists and project tracking documents
- Data entry and project management organization - helping input new items / products into Asana, Contentful, etc., and keeping them up to date
- Assisting with product shipping / tracking from brands to production partners



The Post-Production Assistant must:

- Have 1-3 years of production experience
- Experience with a media management system is a big plus but not required
- Have previous experience in both video and digital production
- Have previous experience at a media network or video production company
- Previous startup experience is a plus!
- Understand the terms and language around digital videos
- Understand how to create a budget
- Have a strategic mindset and creative approach to problem solving
- Be able to thrive in an agile environment and manage conflicting priorities
- Have excellent organization and traditional project management skills
- Have excellent risk management skills and the ability to anticipate potential challenges
- Be a clear communicator who can speak to a broad range of audiences and who is comfortable wrangling a team to identify a problem and come to a solution
- Be able to work collaboratively across multiple teams
- Be comfortable working on tight deadlines with no hand holding
- Be willing to "roll with the punches" and be comfortable working with ambiguity
