Social Media Specialist - Freelance, possible full time - Fully Remote/Off-site

Our client, an education startup is seeking a Social Media Specialist to join their team part time to start with the opportunity to increase hours or go full time.

This role can be onsite OR remote and you will need your own workstation. The offices are in Sea Girt, New Jersey, right on the shore. If you are are local and would like to go in a few days a week, that is a possibility.

The Social Media Specialist will:
- Manage social media accounts for the brand on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and explore new channels
- Coordinate with the designer to create content for publishing OR design content yourself if you have the skills
- Write all social media copy
- Monitor posts and social performance; help create content calendar with direction from founder.
- place ad buys for social if you have these skills
- Write email copy and deploy emails if you have these skills
- Have 1-3+ years of experience managing social media accounts
- Have Exceptional writing skills (Must) and experience creating content / coordinating content production.
- Have experience posting and monitoring on Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
- Experience with YouTube, ad buying, email marketing a plus
