Junior Digital Design Project Manager - WFH during Covid-19

Our client, a global financial services company, is looking for a Project Manager with 2-3 years of experience to join their team, remote to start but ideally onsite occasionally in NYC.

The Junior Digital Design Project Manager will oversee project management and coordination for 2022 project and resource planning, internal reporting, and provide various levels of support to Design Program Management team.

Junior Digital Design Project Manager Details:
• Join a 10 person Design Operations team that is part of a larger 150+ team
• Most of the time will be spent coordinating and overseeing projects via Excel and their new internal proprietary tool
• They use basic formulas within Excel and pivot tables to surface information
• They also use PowerPoint for project management so light PPT skills are needed
• Experience working with creative teams is required
• Set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor and summarizes progress of project
• Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of projects
• A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected
• The work is solely for internal projects, a lot of process based project management
• This is supporting various processes vs. managing specific projects w/ deliverables
• The hiring manager is most concerned with intuition in terms of improving process
• Ability to assist with resource planning and making the process smoother is key
• Soft skills in negotiation and empathy will be helpful
