Our Agency client is currently seeking a Director of Marketing, New Business Development to join their team. This exciting role will oversee all marketing and business development for North America and reports directly into the CMO. You will also interface with senior leadership in London, so this is a high profile role.

- The Director of Marketing, New Business Development will be responsible for driving agency Business Development efforts for North America - owning strategic and day-to-day management of projects (managing search consultants and prospecting efforts)
- Develop, write and execute creative and informative RFI/RFP's that showcase agency's capabilities
- Research new business prospects and contacts
- Track, monitor, and report on actual business development performance against NA plan
- Be a part of the New Business presentation team
- Conceptualize and develop new business marketing materials
- Work with PR & Communications Manager to develop a ‘go-to-market strategy’ for business and industry press, and to highlight significant agency resources
- Manage Agency Pitch process from start to finish (organizing team meetings, brainstorming, creative briefs, reviews, and preparing all materials required for the presentation)
- Knowledgeable of agency market trends and emerging competitors
- Manage new business contact database
- Maintain knowledge of Iris talent and core capabilities – become fluent in building teams based on RFP ask
- Contribute to and communicate creative visions to design team and provide insight into the presentation room and design of materials

The Director or Marketing, New Business Development will have:
- 7+ years of Agency experience from an Account Management or Business Development background
- Must have BD experience and managing the agency pitch process
- A proven track record for developing new revenue and new business opportunities
- Experience working with one or more of the following categories: B2B, Performance Marketing, Media and B2C
- Experience working with search consultants is desirable
- Experience working with industry press is desirable
- Dynamic leadership, team building, and team management skills
- An understanding of the Agency market in the US – big players, industry bodies, key events, biggest influencers and competitors
- Demonstrated ability to operate successfully in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, with high energy and vibrance
- Ability to analyze, develop, sell-in, and manage business strategies, plans and case studies
- Strong presentation and senior client-facing skills
- Ability to work on highly confidential projects and to keep the materials confidential
