Our client, a healthcare company, is in need of a Marketing Content Editor with 5+ years of experience to join their team, temp to perm, onsite in Northern New Jersey.
Healthcare experience is ideal and will prove to be helpful in the role but it's not required. Also, experience using or even writing brand guidelines would be helpful.
You must be a good writer but a strong editor and proofreader with the ability to work with other stake holders to help them get the piece where it needs to be. This may involve some fact checking and potentially a tad bit of rewriting but mainly editing and advising which will require a certain level of patience/diplomacy.
The Marketing Content Editor ensures that internal and external communication material is in brand voice and is clear and consistent, complete, grammatically correct and accessible and moves through the formal Communication Review Process (CRP) on a timely basis.
Primary Marketing Content Editor duties include review and correction of spelling, grammar and layout (proofreading), checking content, imposing consistent styling and rewording or rewriting (copy editing) as necessary. You will work with various content owners across the business on materials such as marketing collateral, training documents and websites/social media and may also assist in development/research/writing of copy as assigned.
