Our client, a well-known baby product brand, is looking for a Senior Designer with a strong foundation in packaging to join their team in a freelance to full-time capacity.
In this role, you will be sole in-house Designer, responsible for conceptualizing and designing assets for packaging, sales collateral, point of purchase, signage and digital applications (display ads, social media and website).
You will be working closely with the Director of Marketing to enhance and optimize brand identity and all associated assets, as well as an agency that will be handling a large brand's redesign.
The ideal Designer will have:
- 4+ years of experience
- experience with packaging design (REQUIRED!)
- experience working on print, digital, POP and retail design
- knowledge of mechanicals
- a FUN and spunky design aesthetic, but able to work within brand guidelines
- go-getter mentality, able to own projects and provide consultative, conceptual direction
- project management skills and be able to work with a tight deadline
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or related field
Knowledge of the parenting/children's space is a huge plus, but not necessary. Should have some interest in it though!
The Designer must have their own laptop to start.
